OH AHAHAHAHA noooo that was Dick in one of the maaaaany alternative the Batman/Robin side-universe origin stories. xD It's also the source of "I'm the goddamn Batman". Like it's not enough your parents are dead, kid. Welcome to hell have fun being adopted into child slavery! But NO MAN comicverse Tim is like "Being Robin is a cool afterschool job!" until people find out he's Robin and kill his dad so he quits being Robin and then his GIRLFRIEND is like "Oh cool that means there's a position open right? :D" and steals his place and then it gets her killed (but it pissed off the readers because she was Robin for like an hour so she gets better) and Tim's like "siiiigh I hate everyone" and moves out to be Robin and brood privately and then like everyone in his life either betrays him or gets killed and it's the most horrible thing ever. That was a very long sentence and I apologize for it.
In short, they really do. :(
