[There's no reason to celebrate birthdays in a place like Luceti. It's just another indicator that something's gone terribly wrong and there's reason to mark another year older that may or may not count if the legends are true and ages revert once people return home. If this is all a virtual reality simulation, then birthdays matter less. The passage of time can't be trusted any more than anything else can. So even though Robin's having a birthday today, he has no intention of acknowledging it.

He'll follow his standard routine instead: After waking up at sunset, he'll prop open the journal and let it play through the audio messages posted through the day while he showers, followed by a review of his other surveillance equipment. He'll take another glance over the responses to that unsettling Joker transmission from yesterday, hoping there'll be an extra clue or bit of evidence that will lead them closer to finding him. Barring any leads or suspicious activities, he'll shadow that Artemis girl for a while, mostly because she seems entirely okay and that's reason enough to suspect her.

Is your character a nocturnal sort? He or she might encounter a Robin on a rooftop. Or perhaps elsewhere. He might not be available to those seeking him, but that won't stop him from finding others. What kind of nighttime activity is occupying Luceti tonight? Loitering around the fountain? Clandestine nighttime transactions? The odd damsel in need of a late-night escort? Robin's hoping to find at least some action tonight.]

[He's good, she'll give him that. Actually, she suspects he spends a lot more time trailing her than she actually picks up on - which is more than a little creepy, but he's Robin and it's not like she can shoot him.

...Maybe just shoot at him a bit.

Her fingers twitch, but she doesn't have her bow with her, because she'd been going for dinner, not out to shoot doppelgangers with apparently way too much free time on their hands. Because really? She could think of a lot more interesting things to be doing right now.

Instead, she huffs out a frustrated sigh and calls out to seemingly nothing.]

the traveler stops and looks up at the rooftop and Robin, leaning its head back to stare at him.

[This damsel isn't really in need of an escort. But she was right there, out in the open by the river. Bundled up, sure, but this was the only time Katara had to herself recently. What else would she do with it other than practice?]

[He knows she knows he's watching her. And in a way, that's for the best. A few more rounds of this and she'll probably start policing herself under the assumption that he's always around somewhere.]

[Aang is the opposite of the nocturnal sort. But he is totally ready to rock the nighttime scene to celebrate the birth of his brother from another timeline. At some point in the evening, he stumbles towards the community house, with the mistaken assumption that Robin is home. In one hand? A large pizza box. Under his other arm? A present box. Robin's birthday, prepare to be rocked.]

[It's rare that Robin manages to be seen without revealing himself. But then again, it's also rare to find someone from a sentient race that speaks a language not covered by the universal translator. It warrants an interview.

Robin dives from his rooftop perch, somewhat purposefully making a show out of somersaulting in midair as dramatically as possible. He's also not doing much of anything to slow his fall just yet. It's flashier that way.]

[Katara's been through a lot lately. Robin's kept tabs on her status, but it hasn't really been the kind of sequence he's felt comfortable intruding. What Katara's needed most recently has been a sense of family and stability. Robin's not been able to offer either.

Even now, he doesn't want to encroach on her katas. He'll just settle into the space beside her and join in. It's a way of spending time together without breaking into her personal bubble. Sharing a little Tai Chi couldn't hurt.]

[....Did someone say pizza? Food is the best kind of present. As Aang moves along the path, Robin will be there. He's not intending to frighten. He's just not there and then he's there, the way he usually does.]

[OH GOD, THE BOY JUST JUMPED TO HIS DEATH.

the traveler jumps and starts running circles, not sure what it can do to help save this boy!!! it can't let him--

it flaps its cloak and rises into the air, trying to bump into him (even if it won't feel like much more than being hit by a paper bag) to give him more power to fly!!! also, it sends a large energy wave into the air to slow his fall]

[Night life is great! ...Well actually it's kind of boring if none of your other friends are around, but you find ways to entertain yourself with something when you have abnormal sleeping habits from everyone else. So, rather than being at home tonight like a normal kid might be, this guy appears to be practicing cartwheels or something...on a rooftop. At night.

...We swear we have a reason to be doing this, but otherwise he only seems vaguely concerned about safety as far as living to see his next birthday goes...]

[Oh, Dick. It's cute if you think no one else is going to acknowledge your birthday. Especially Jason. This little bird is always down with reasons to celebrate. It's a thing that happens when you don't usually have many reasons to celebrate at all.

Of course, birthday or no birthday, Jason's out anyway. Gotta keep an eye out for creepy clowns and all, you know? Normally, he'd be cool with letting Dick do his own thing, but since today's kind of special, he might be trying to look for him. By sneaking up on him, obviously. Even if he fails, though, he's sure he'll run into him eventually, if only back at the apartments.

He doesn't expect Dick to be in the best mood no matter when he finds him, all things considered, but he doesn't care too much, either. It's his birthday, after all.]

While it does effectively ruin the effect he was going for, Robin's no stranger to the occasional superpowered cushion. He lands easily enough, but with attention riveted on the cloaked stranger.]

[He shifts his eyes back and forth a few times, then decides to screw it and shouts out.]

[Jason, no. There's work that needs to be done. He's gotten the idea that Jason was scaling the same buildings as he for some reason, though. Might as well slow down and find out what it is.]

[it coasts back to the ground and flops into a somersault when it lands, popping back up to its feet before shaking dirt and dust from its robe. then it turns back to run over to Robin, at just under 1 meter tall, it has to look up at him]

[Crow momentarily halts his movements at hearing a voice, standing on his hands. He flattens his palms a little like he was told to do, before he then proceeds to keep himself balanced with only one hand for a second so that he can turn himself a little to look around for the source of the voice.]

...Huh, guess I was being careless--usually I can tell when somebody's nearby right away. [Well, a good chunk of the time, anyway. That's what he gets for letting himself get distracted easily.] Anything else you wanna tell me, mysterious person?

[Ion is very much the nocturnal type. It's the only time he doesn't have to worry about the sun, so he can walk around without a cape, and hood blocking his view. He isn't doing very much. Staring at the sky mostly as he just walks around, just not looking at where he's going.]

[Marco is chilling out the rooftop of CH3, a large pirate flag hanging behind him. He finishes off a bottle of sake and then suddenly moves with an alarming speed in Robin's direction, a shard of glass threateningly close to Robin's throat.]

I wouldn't do that if I were you matey. [The better question is probably "do what," really. wtf is this guy's problem anyway?]
